The Photograph

Set in the '80s/ '90s, this fictional descriptive essay / photo book for children of all ages highlights Parisian culture through the eyes of a young boy with an old soul.

Surely, all kids, preteens, moms and dads will love bonding over the beautiful sights, sounds, smells and tastes that this book illustrates.

Written in 2017 by 11-year-old Allen Samuel Gimena (who won as national Champion in English Poetry Writing Contest in the Children's Museum and Library, Inc. [CMLI] Philippines 39th Annual Summer Leadership Convention and WorkCamp), as a literary expression for his love of family, travel, adventure, books, music, French cuisine and culinary arts. Inspired by true characters in his personal life and fueled by his childhood dreams and lifelong passions.

Edited in 2020 by his mother, Aleli Carissa Gimena.
